Executive Chef Seth Gallant Named to 2026 “40 Under 40”
Executive Chef Seth Gallant of The Club at Spruce Peak and Stowe Country Club has
been named to the Club + Resort Chef Association’s 2026 “40 Under 40” class.
Seth entered the profession 16 years ago as a steward and steadily advanced through
respected restaurant and club kitchens. Over the past six years, he has helped guide The
Club at Spruce Peak through significant growth, building an adaptable culinary structure
to support expanding membership, multiple dining concepts, and large-scale events.
Gallant’s leadership was shaped in moments of disruption, from operating through the
Tubbs Fire to navigating the pandemic. Those experiences reinforced his belief that a
club is defined by its people, not its buildings, and that food can anchor community
during uncertain times.

Adding to the excitement this winter, U.S. Olympian Paula Moltzan returned home to
Vermont following her bronze medal finish at the Slalom Team Combined event and
joined members of The Club at Spruce Peak for a special “Ski with Paula” experience, as
part of the 2026 Founders Cup Silent Auction.
The unforgettable day on the mountain was followed by a lively afternoon of après with
fellow Club members - a memorable celebration of Vermont pride and the spirit of the
Club community
Spruce Peak’s 2026 Winter Games Celebration brought festive winter energy to Stowe
as the Village transformed into a Winter Games - inspired playground.
Guests gathered throughout the Village for screenings of the Opening and Closing
Ceremonies, along with select events shown across the community.
The celebration also featured glow skate parties, family-friendly snowshoe biathlons,
paint & sip nights, and other spirited activities, offering plenty of ways for guests and
locals alike to enjoy friendly competition, outdoor fun, and cheer on the world’s top
athletes all month long.
