Every couple has questions while planning a wedding, and we’re here to make things easier. Explore the answers to our most frequently asked questions below.
- Can we schedule a tour?
- Site tours are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm
- Weekend site tours are available provided the following:
- You've mapped out your weekend events with our wedding planning team and have reviewed a custom weekend estimate
- You have confirmed our venue is available for your wedding date
- You have provided at least two weeks' notice for the date of your tour.
- What other vendor should we factor into our wedding planning and budget?
- Outside of what we provide, we recommend including the following vendors into your wedding planning:
- Florist (many florists also offer decor including candles and wedding arches)
- Entertainment: Band or DJ
- Officiant
- Photographer & Videographer
- Other optional vendors to include:
- Wedding Planner
- A/V
- Decorator
- Enquire with our team for our updated list of partner and recommended local vendors.
- Outside of what we provide, we recommend including the following vendors into your wedding planning:
- Who will be my contact throughout the wedding planning, and what is their role?
- You will have two primary planners to help you from the inquiry stage all the way through your wedding event
- Phase 1: Our wedding sales manager will bring you from inquiry to contract. In this phase, we'll help you to form the foundation of your wedding weekend, decide on your wedding date, develop the flow of events, and plan wedding room block.
- Phase 2: Post contract-signing you'll be introduced to our wedding coordinator who becomes your primary contact through to your wedding. We will assist you with all venue-related details including floorplan design, menu tasting & detailing, vendor logistics, and room block support.
- You will have two primary planners to help you from the inquiry stage all the way through your wedding event
- Does The Lodge have a pastry team for a wedding cake?
- Yes, The Lodge has a dedicated pastry team on-site and can help create custom wedding cake or desserts for you. We'll be happy to provide sample cake at your menu tasting.
- Can we host an afterparty? How late can they go?
- Yes, we can host afterparties! Afterparties must take place in an indoor space and must conclude by 2:00am.
- Is there a weather back-up for outdoor weddings?
- Yes, we'll always hold a weather back-up option for outdoor, untented events.
- What are the options for getting-ready areas?
- We have an on-site salon with dedicated bridal hair & makeup team! We can accommodate hair and makeup for up to 18 guests.
- If you plan to bring an outside hair or makeup artist, we recommend reserving a Penthouse in your room block.
- Does The Lodge offer a shuttle?

- The Lodge does not offer a shuttle, however we have several recommendations for transportation ranging from airport transfers and luxury limosines, to shuttles and party buses.

- What is the nearest airport to The Lodge?
- The nearest airport is BTV-Patrick Leahy International Airport in Burlington, VT and is a scenic 45-minute drive from Stowe.
- Is The Lodge ADA-compliant?
- Yes, both our lodging and venue spaces are all ADA-compliant.
