- What makes this hotel unique compared to other properties in the area?
Spruce Peak is Stowe, VT’s only ski-in ski-out destination for lodging and vacation rentals. Enjoy premier access to the slopes in the winter and hiking trails during the summer without ever leaving the property. - What are the check-in and check-out times, and are early check-ins or late check-outs available?
Check out is 11:00am. Check in is 4:00pm. Early check-in and late check-out may be available depending on occupancy. - What is included in the daily resort or destination fee?
Guests staying at The Lodge at Spruce Peak are charged a $50+tax/night Resort Fee which includes the following amenities:- Access to The Club at Spruce Peak's Technogym Fitness Center •
- Access to Golf/Bike Valet Services (seasonal)
- Morning Vermont Artisan Coffee Service at Alpine Hall: 6:30-8:30am

Guests staying in the Residences at Spruce Peak or The Penthouses at Spruce Peak are charged a $125+tax/night Resort Fee which includes access to the following amenities:- Access to The Club at Spruce Peak's Technogym Fitness Center

- Can I store my luggage before or after I check out?
Yes, guests can store their luggage before or after checking out until 4 pm. We do not store the luggage overnight. - Can I send a package to the hotel?
Yes, you can send a package a day or two before the check-in date to the hotel, as we have limited storage available - Is breakfast included in my stay?
Breakfast is not included for Lodge at Spruce Peak reservations unless you have booked a specific rate with a breakfast package. Guests of the Penthouses at Spruce Peak have daily enhanced continental breakfast included in their stay. Breakfast packages are not available for The Residences at Spruce Peak, but all guests are welcome to dine in Alpine Hall. Advance reservations are recommended during holidays and peak business periods.
Rooms & Amenities
- What is the difference between the view categories in The Lodge at Spruce Peak?
Lodge guestrooms and suites are available in three view categories. Timberline rooms are primarily overlook the Spruce Peak Village community. Ridgeline rooms have obstructed or partial mountain views. Alpine rooms are located on the top floors and have unobstructed mountain views of Mount Mansfield. - I reserved a Classic Guestroom. How do I know what the bedding configuration will be?
Classic Guestrooms feature either one king bed, or two double beds. Although we can add a request to your reservation, we are unable to guarantee bedding configuration in advance. We strongly recommend parties of three or more people reserve a Studio room or larger, so they will have a guaranteed king bed and a queen sleeper sofa. Rollaway beds are not permitted in Classic Guestrooms or Studios - What is the bedding configuration in a Two-Bedroom Suite?
Two-Bedroom Suites may have one king in each bedroom, or one king in the first bedroom and two double beds in the second bedroom. Although we can add a request to your reservation, bedding configuration is not guaranteed and will be based upon availability at check-in. All Two-Bedroom Suites include a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. - Do rooms include workspaces or business-friendly features?
All rooms include access to complimentary Wi-Fi. Although most Lodge guestrooms do not have desks, our One- & Two-Bedroom Suites, Penthouses, and Residences have tables in the dining areas. We also have a business center with computers and a printer available for guest use. - Are there hypoallergenic bedding or pillow options available?
Yes, hypoallergenic bedding and pillows are available upon request. - Is daily housekeeping provided, and can it be customized?
Daily housekeeping is provided for Lodge guestrooms and suites, and Penthouse residences.
Stays in the Residences at Spruce Peak do not include daily housekeeping, but a’la carte services are available upon request. - Does my room have a mini fridge?
All guestrooms, suites, Penthouses, and Residences have a fridge. Suites and above all have full-sized fridges with freezers in their kitchen areas. - Will my room have a balcony?
With the exception of Classic Guestrooms, all Lodge at Spruce Peak rooms and suites have an outdoor terrace. We have a limited number of Classic Guestrooms with terraces, but we cannot guarantee one of these units will be available for your stay. - Do you have room service?
In-room dining from Alpine Hall and Tipsy Trout can be ordered for delivery to Lodge guestrooms and suites and The Penthouses at Spruce Peak during regular restaurant operating hours by going to www.SprucePeak.com/To-Go
We do not offer room service delivery to the Residences at Spruce Peak. - Are rollaway beds available?
Rollaway beds are available upon request and cost an extra $50 per night. Rollaway beds are not permitted in Classic Guestrooms or Studios. - Is there housekeeping service?
The Lodge at Spruce Peak and Penthouses at Spruce Peak include daily housekeeping services during your stay.
Daily housekeeping is not provided for Residences at Spruce Peak, however a’la carte options can be requested at additional charge.
Parking, Travel & Transportation
- What is the closest airport?
The Lodge at Spruce Peak? Spruce Peak is located an approximate 45minute drive from BTV Burlington International Airport. - Does the hotel provide shuttle or transfer services?
We currently do not offer shuttle or transfer services, however we are happy to recommend local services available for hire. Call our pre-arrival team at 877-291-3781 for information. - What are the recommended local transportation options?
Local transportation options vary upon season. Call our pre-arrival team at 877-291-3781 for information and assistance in booking transportation. - Are rental bicycles available through the hotel or nearby partners?
There are numerous bike rental vendors in Stowe, VT. We recommend Pinnacle Ski & Sports located at 1652 Mountain Road. https://www.pinnacleskisports.com/ - Is there valet parking?
Valet parking is available at The Lodge at Spruce Peak’s main drive for a nightly fee of $37.45, inclusive of taxes.
Guests staying in the Residences at Spruce Peak are allotted one assigned parking space included in their stay. - Is there self parking?
Limited self-parking options may be available seasonally at additional cost. Please call the front desk prior to arrival for updated seasonal pricing and availability. - Are there EV chargers?
Paid EV chargers are available at the self-parking area, and we have a limited number of EV chargers with valet parking. Depending on availability, we offer complimentary charging.
Hotel Experience & General Information
- Does the hotel have a spa?
Yes, The Spa at Spruce Peak is located within the main Lodge building and offers an extensive selection of all-natural, locally-sourced, and luxurious treatments. - Do I need to make a reservation for the on-site restaurant, or can I walk in?
Reservations are recommended for Alpine Hall and Tipsy Trout, particularly on weekends, holidays, and in the winter season. The WhistlePig Pavilion and Pico Taco do not accept reservations and are walk-in only. - Is the pool open all year?
Our outdoor pool is heated and open year-round. The pool will close during periods of extreme cold or inclement weather. - Are there any seasonal closures of amenities and restaurants?
A number of our amenities are available seasonally and may not be available during your stay. The Spruce Peak Village Green and our golf courses are open May-October, while our ice rink is open Thanksgiving-April (weather dependent)
Alpine Hall, The Pantry, and Beanery Café are the only dining options open year-round. Our off-season months are November, April, and May, and may have limited activities and dining options available during that time. It is best to call our pre-arrival team at 877-291-3781 ahead of arrival for an updated list of activities and amenities open during your stay. - How can I book a tee time?
You can book a tee time by calling our Pre-Arrival Concierge team Monday-Friday at 877‐291‐3781. On weekends, please call 802-760-4604 to inquire about tee time availability. - How can I buy lift tickets or ski/snowboard rentals?
While Spruce Peak strives to provide the best winter experience as Stowe’s only slopside lodging destination, we are unable to assist in purchasing lift tickets or ski/snowboard rentals. Please visit Vail Resorts at www.Stowe.com directly for all your ski/ride needs. - Can I bring my own skis/snowboards, bikes, or golf clubs?
Yes! Included in your stay is complimentary Ski Valet service during winter, and bike storage during summer, so your gear is ready when you are without cluttering your room or residence.

- Are smart TVs or streaming services available in guest rooms?
Lodge guestrooms, suites, and Penthouse residences come with Google Chromecast smart TVs to allow you to stream your favorite services via your device.
Families & Groups
- Does the hotel offer connecting rooms or family suites?
We do not offer connecting standard rooms, but we have Two-Bedroom Suites available, as well as multi-bedroom Penthouses and Residences. If reserving multiple individual rooms, there must be an adult (18+) staying in each unit. - What amenities are available for children?
Cribs are available for an additional fee of $20.00 per night. Alternatively we can provide a complimentary pack ‘n play. High chairs available upon request at no additional charge. Alpine Hall, Tipsy Trout, and Pico Taco all have dedicated kids’ menus available. - Does the hotel offer childcare services?
The hotel does not offer childcare services, but Cubs Childcare is conveniently located in the Spruce Peak Village and may have daily openings. To inquire about availability and pricing, please call 802-253-3686 or email stowecubs@vailresorts.com. Our Pre-Arrival Concierge team can also recommend a local childcare service. Pets
- Is the hotel pet-friendly, and what is included in the pet policy?
- The Lodge at Spruce Peak welcomes dogs with a non-refundable dog-fee of $100+tax per night. This fee includes a welcome amenity of dog bed and toys upon check-in. Dogs may not be left along in your room at any time, and must be leashed at all times while on resort premises. Please note not all Lodge guestrooms and suites can accommodate travelers with dogs, and The Penthouses and Residences are both fully dog-free.
- Can I bring my dog to the hotel?
The Lodge at Spruce Peak and the Spruce Peak has many dog-friendly locations throughout the property, including hiking trails and the Village Green. Dogs are not allowed in the hotel restaurants, pool or pool deck, or in the main or upper lobby with the exception of arrival and departure. - Does the hotel offer pet-sitting services?
The hotel does not offer a pet-sitting service, but our Pre-Arrival Concierge team can recommend a local provider. Please call 877‐291‐3781 for additional information.

- Are service animals welcome, and what documentation is required (if any)?
Service dogs and miniature horses trained to perform specific tasks to assist a person with a disability are permitted in all unit types. The pet fee is waived for ADA service animals. We do not require documentation, but guests should be prepared to answer the following questions: 1. Do you need the animal because of a disability? 2. What work or tasks has the animal been trained to perform?
