Featured Fall Foliage Hikes
For all hikes your guide will have bug spray, sunscreen, and a first aid kit to share. Included in the price is hiking poles. Guests must bring their own water, proper shoes, and layers. Cameras optional, but highly recommended.
Full Moon Hikes
Explore the Spruce Loop and other trails surrounding our community under the light of the full moon, while your guide provides astronomy facts and observations. Exact route of hike will vary based on trail conditions and participants' skill levels.

Spruce Loop Hike
- Relax and learn more about the Spruce Peak area with a casual stroll/property tour while enjoying one of our local beer/wine options selected by the guide.
- Rated Easy/Beginner - No experience necessary. Must be able to walk on mostly flat terrain with some ascents, descents and stairs.
Complimentary Java Hike
- Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea while experiencing the natural beauty of the Spruce Peak Community Pathway trail network on this 1 mile tour.

Smuggler's Notch Boardwalk Hike
- Explore a small portion of the Long trail at the entrance of Smugglers Notch and the Barnes camp Visitor’s Center.
- Rated Beginner/Easy - No experience necessary. Must be able to walk on mostly flat terrain with some ascents, descents and stairs.

Cascade & Ski School Hike
- Take a breath of fresh mountain air on this light and scenic hike. Meander through forested trails with gentle elevation as you take in stunning views of cascading waterfalls and majestic mountain backdrops when you make it to the ski school home base.
- Rated Easy/Low Moderate - No experience necessary. Must be able to walk on varying terrain with some ascents, descents and stairs. Recommended for ages 10 and up. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Spruce Peak Trail Run
- Get your daily movement in with this beautiful trail run. Roughly 2.5 miles, this guided run will be along the river and through the woods.
- Rated Beginner/Intermediate - No experience necessary. Must be able to run on uneven ground with consistent ascending and descending terrain. Recommended for 15 and up. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

Stowe Mtn. Chapel Hike
- Start your Sunday off with a beautiful scenic hike up to the historic Stowe Mountain Chapel. This complimentary hike takes you along the lower to middle portions of Mount Mansfield to reach your destination point of the chapel, combining views and history this hike is an amazing way to get your day started.
- Rated Intermediate - No experience necessary. Must be able to walk on varying terrain with some ascents, descents and stairs. Recommended for ages 10 and up. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

Fall Foliage Hike
- Take a hike through the lower parts of Spruce Peak & Mt. Mansfield for incredible views of the vibrant and everchanging colors throughout the mountain landscape.
- Rated Intermediate - No experience necessary. Must be able to walk on mostly varying terrain with some ascents, descents and stairs. All ages welcome. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Barnes Camp Loop
- Hike around the Barnes Camp to get a taste of a Vermont adventure! With a creek crossing, varying terrain, scenic views of the mountains, and heavy foliage this tour has a little of bit everything that incapsulates some of the elements of a true Vermont hiking experience.
- Rated Intermediate - No experience necessary. Must be able to walk on varying terrain with some ascents, descents and stairs.

Lower Sterling Hike
- Experience the property from a different perspective by exploring the lower to middle portions of the ski slopes here at the resort. This 2 mile tour provides excellent views of the Spruce Peak Village and the surrounding areas.
- Rated Advanced - Some hiking experience necessary. Must be able to walk on varying terrain with many ascents and descents. 1 liter (32 oz) of water required.

Sterling Pond & Spruce Peak Hike
- Take hike up to Spruce Peak and Sterling Pond. This 5 hour hike has both breathtaking views of the mountains, as well as a scenic stop (and maybe a swim) at the highest alpine body of water in the state of Vermont!
- Rated Advanced - No experience necessary. Must be able to walk on varying terrain with many ascents and descents. All ages welcome, but recommended for ages 12 and up. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Elephants Head & Long Trail Hike
- Take a hike up a portion of the long trail to reach the beautiful viewing point of Elephants Head!

Mt Mansfield Lower View Point Hike
- Take a hike up the Hazelton trail to reach an amazing view point out on the headwall of the ski trail Nose Dive on Mount Mansfield. Not going all the way to the summit, this tour is less intense than the traditional summit hike but still provides amazing views and a great exercise.
- Rated Advanced - Some hiking experience necessary. Must be able to walk on varying terrain with many ascents and descents. All ages welcome, but recommended for ages 12 and up. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

This wheel-chair accessible, wooden boardwalk weaves through beaver-built swamps and ponds, complete with educational panels, towars a breathtaking view of Smuggler's Notch

The Stowe Rec Path
Perfect for both cycling and casual walks, this paved path criss-crosses the town of Stowe allowing for a self-guided tour of such popular spots as Idletyme Brewing and Stowe Cider.

Wind through the rocky forest to a pristine 40-foot cascading waterfall with deep gorges - a perfect destination for warm summer days.

The most direct, steepest, and difficult trail to the summit of Mt. Mansfield, Hellbrook is often thought as the most challenging hiking trail in the state of Vermont.
