This May, The Spa at Spruce Peak introduces a thoughtfully curated series of wellness experiences designed to help you reset, recharge, and reconnect. As the season shifts in the mountains, it’s a natural time to slow down, find balance, and experience a different rhythm at Spruce Peak - one centered on well-being.

Friday, May 29th

  • 12:00-2:00pm:
    • Breath and Meditation - Breathwork workshop followed by meditation to regulate your nervous system and gain present moment awareness
    • Present Moment Journaling - Guided journal prompts to start your weekend of wellness
    • Mindfulness Practice - Guided mindfulness session to cultivate awareness
  • 4:30pm: Cold plunge - Master your breath and mind all while taking care of your body in our cold plunge
  • 7:30pm: Yin Yoga - Slow, intentional postures to lengthen your body and ease you into a restful sleep

Saturday, May 30th

  • 8:00am: Morning Asana -Wake up with gentle movement and sun salutations. No experience needed.
  • 9:00am: Mindfulness Practice - No better time to sit in presence after yoga. Join for a short talk and mindful practice.
  • 1:00pm: Mindful Art - Bring out your creativity and concentration with a fun and meditative art project, no experience required.
  • 6:30pm: Closing Journaling Practice - Guided journal prompts to help you reflect on this mini-retreat weekend.
  • 7:30pm: Restorative Yoga for Rest - Close our day with slow and intentional practice to help you slow down.
Courtney

About Courtney Watson

Courtney has created a blended practice she calls The Mindful Way, an experience that merges her certifications in yoga, mindfulness and breathwork. She discovered this practice when she was struggling with stress and trying to find balance in her life. Mindfulness Meditation and Philosophy helped her manage stress in a better way, and she made it a part of her life and teachings.

Her Yoga Trainings include Hatha, Ashtanga, and Yin modalities, with over 700 hours of training in India and Colorado. She has also studied stress reduction at USCD's Center for Mindfulness, Non-Violent Communication with Jay Sofer, and with her teacher from the Encinitas Mindfulness Community
