Warming Spa Tea Recipe

Warm your body and relax your mind with this at-home recipe for anti-inflammatory and antioxidant medicinal tea blend.

Makes 8oz.
This medicinal make at home tea, powerful anti-inflammatory and strong antioxidant,  will warm your body and relax your mind. 

 Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon sweetener of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon plus ¼ teaspoon hot water
  • ½ cup milk or alternative milk of your choice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (1/2 inch) piece fresh ginger, thinly sliced
  • 2pinches of freshly ground pepper

 In a small bowl, combine the turmeric, sweeter, and hot water, then whisk them into a paste.  In a saucepan, whisk together the milk or alternative milk, the cup of water, the ginger, 1 pinch of pepper, and the turmeric paste.  Bring the mixture to a light boil, then lower the heat to low and allow it to simmer for 7 minutes.  Remove the saucepan from the heat, cover it, and allow it to sit for 10 minutes,  Strain and serve warm.  Add the remaining pinch of pepper to garnish.  Add more sweeter if desired.  Enjoy!
