Make the Most of your Spruce Peak Stay by Planning Ahead.

From a fundraiser to promote equity in board sports and a contemporary art benefit to the region's premier culinary event and the unforgettable total eclipse, these joyful celebrations brought us together as a community this year.

CHILL IN STOWE

March 15, 2024

Donna Carpenter and the Merson family co-hosted a fundraiser for the Chill Foundation on the eve of A Day for Jake, a global day of snowboarding to celebrate the legacy of Jake Carpenter, founder of Burton Snowboards. The event took place at The Club at Spruce Peak and featured drinks, light d’oeuvres, a raffle, silent auction, and live music. Over $60,000 was raised to support Chill Foundation’s mission of inspiring young people through board sports and building a more equitable outdoor community.

SOLAR ECLIPSE

April 8, 2024

Perfectly positioned in the path of totality, Spruce Peak threw a daytime blackout party to mark the occasion. Hundreds gathered in the Spruce Peak Village to enjoy the festivities including a stellar performance by DJ Logic & Friends (including keyboardist Ray Paczkowski of Trey Anastasio Band, guitarist Andy Greenberg of Runaway Gin, and guitarist and bandleader Marcus Rezak, plus special guest G Love) and take in this extraordinary event.

A TASTE OF NEW ENGLAND

August 24-27,2023

Spruce Peak welcomed celebrated chefs from across New England for an unforgettable experience. The four-day culinary event included standalone chef-curated dinners, an exclusive welcome reception with star chefs, a unique collaboration dinner with expert wine pairings, live music, and a food and beverage showcase featuring top Vermont artisans, producers, farms, and restaurants.

THE CURRENT GALA

April 13, 2024

The Current’s 33rd annual benefit gala took place at The Lodge at Spruce Peak. The midnight garden-themed soiree included a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, dinner, dessert, and dancing. As the most important fundraising event for Stowe’s center for contemporary art, this year’s event raised funds to support free public events, exhibitions, and scholarship-supported education programs, and to help ensure accessibility to quality arts experiences and educational opportunities for underserved and disadvantaged rural communities.
