Shinrin-yoku, or  Forest Bathing, originated in Japan in the 1980s and has quickly become popular for its benefits and ease of access. There is no complicated technique or experience required, simply commit to a quiet, mindful among the trees. Benefits include reduced stress, lower blood pressure, boosted energy levels, and heightened creativity.

Reconnect with your inner self while connecting with nature amongst the forests surrounding Spruce Peak. The Spa will provide you with a map, mindfulness exercises, and everything else you need for this wellness activity.

Tennis at Spruce Peak

Take part in the popular sport that is enjoyed by all ages while surrounded by the beauty of the Green Mountains. Spruce Peak is home to two hard-courts available for Club members and Lodge guests.

Guests of all ages are invited to try their hand at the popular sport of Mountain Biking under the guidance of an experienced local partner. This clinic is not a trail-ride, but focuses on building skills confidently on flat-ground. 

Join Spruce Peak Outfitters every Monday morning this summer for a mountain biking clinic targeted to work on everything from the fundamentals for beginners, all the way up to fine tuning and honing in the skills and techniques of experienced bikers.

Create memorable experiences with friends and family while getting hands on training with an experienced professional. Skills learned in this course can be transferred into a lifelong hobby of mountain biking or you can just simply enjoy the sunshine and Green Mountain views from the seat of a quality mountain bike. 

 

Mountain Biking in Stowe, VT

Stowe is a world-class mountain bike destination, and for good reason. Stowe's large network of trails feature terrain that's fun and challenging, but still offers something for every ability level. Whether you're out for a casual ride with the family, training for enduro, or logging some marathon XC miles, Stowe's got you covered.

    • Start the day off with a short story time. Perfect for all ages.

Dining at Spruce Peak

Dining at Spruce Peak is focused on sourcing fresh, local ingredients. Autumn is inspired by local farms, producers, distillers, and more to bring authentic ingredients and flavors to your table. From refreshing cocktails by the pool and locally raised beef burgers piled high with fresh accoutrements to a five-course tasting menu showcasing the finest our region has to offer, you'll be inspired by all that New England has to offer.
