1. What is a Pinnacle Residence?

A Pinnacle Residence is a specific residence within the Front Four that is divided into 6 ownership interests, each with eight designated weeks annually which are the recurring period of time as noted in the Front Four Declaration (“Ownership Periods”).  Possession, use and occupancy of Ownership Periods are not subject to the Lodging Reservations Policies and Procedures.

2. Will I stay in the same unit for each stay?

Yes. Each owner will be deeded to a specific unit and your use rights are to that unit only.

3. How many nights per year may I stay in my Residence?

Each owner in the Pinnacle Residences shall have eight designated Ownership Weeks as described in the Front Four Declaration for each interest.  The Declaration includes a 28 year repeating calendar specifically noting the Ownership Periods for all 6 interests in each unit.  The weeks in the calendars vary slightly year to year as the dates of holidays shift each year.  As an example, the 2015/2016 (2016/2017)Ownership Periods for the Pinnacle Residences are as follows:

4. As a Pinnacle Owner what benefits do I enjoy at Stowe Mountain Club?

Pinnacle owners select who will be the recipient of Stowe Mountain Club access benefits while in residence.  Each residence owner may apply for a second family designee by submitting an application and paying the prevailing second designee fee. Designee privileges during winter include:

  • Lift Access is transferable to family and friends while the Front Four Owner Designee is in residence. Arrangements must be made prior to arrival and are for the length of the stay.
  • Preferred rates on ski tuning, private lessons (Monday through Friday; non-holiday), daily Mountain Adventure kids programs, and non-sale items in the Stowe Mountain Resort retail shops
  • Preferred rates on food at the Cliff House, as well as the ability to make lunch reservations at the Cliff House.

   
Designee privileges during summer include:

  • While in residence, access to the Stowe Mountain Club golf course and the Stowe Country Club golf course for the designee and spouse/partner and immediate family members (immediate family includes children under the age of 23).  Green and cart fees at the Stowe Mountain Club and Stowe Country Club golf courses are included for each member of your family (use of golf cars is limited to licensed drivers).
  • Whether in residence or not, access the Alpine Club, Cottage and spa/fitness facilities for Front Four Owner Designees and immediate family.  They may pay the accompanied rate for golf while not in residence.
  • Owners will receive 12 Stowe Mountain Club golf vouchers per year for extended family or guests staying in their residence.
  • Complimentary access to the Gondola in the summer
  • 20% off Zipline and treetop Adventure Attractions (reservations required) for Front Four Designees and their immediate family.
  • Preferred rates on food at the Golf Cottage, Kirkwoods Pub and the Cliff House
  • Owners will receive 24 vouchers per year for guest access to the Alpine Club and spa/fitness facilities (Day Guest Pass).


All of these require that you present your Evolution Stowe Card (ESC) at the time of purchase to receive the applicable discount.  Owners may charge to their room and/or ESC card with resort charging privileges to settle the charge at check out.

5. Can I purchase multiple interests within a unit?

Yes. You may buy as few as one interest and as many as six interests within one unit to maximize your use time.

6. Why are there 4 weeks per year that are not deeded to an owner?

There are two weeks in the spring season and two weeks in the fall season that are not deeded to owners.  These dates allow for deep cleaning of the residences as well as any necessary maintenance to keep your residence up to the high standards of the Front Four.

7. Can I rent my unit?

Yes. You may rent any of your Ownership Periods without exception.  You must notify the Stowe Mountain Lodge Rental Manager or the Front Four Manager that you would like to rent some of your time.  The Rental Manager will provide you with a rental contract which you will need to sign as well as a form to fill out listing the dates you would like to rent.  We will always do our best to rent your unit for the specified dates but please remember that we can never guarantee rentals or rates.  You will be notified if your unit rented only after the rental has taken place.  If you decide that you would no longer like to rent your time, you may notify the Rental Manager that you would like to use the time for yourself (or guests) instead. You will then be removed from the  rental program.

8. Can I rent during holidays?

Yes. There are no restrictions as to when you are permitted to rent your residence.  You may rent any time frame that is within your Ownership Periods.

9. Can I allow someone else to use my unit?
Yes. Unaccompanied guests are permitted to use your unit during any of your Ownership Periods.

10. Will I have a parking space?

Yes. Your ownership allows you use of one garage parking space while in residence. If your party has more than one vehicle, there will be a $23 per night charge for each additional vehicle.

11. Can I refer friends or family to purchase a Pinnacle residence?

Yes!  If you refer a friend or family member who purchases any residence type at Spruce Peak, you will receive a $5,000 gift card good anywhere at Stowe Mountain Resort and Stowe Mountain Lodge.

12. Can I customize my residence?

Structural changes, removal of furniture, wall hangings or floor coverings, or redecorating of any type is not permitted in any residence as they are shared amongst the owners.

13. How often will I receive housekeeping?

Housekeeping personnel will provide daily trash and towel service and a departure clean for each owner’s 8 Ownership Periods all of which is included in the annual fees. Mid-stay housekeeping services (mandatory when occupancy period is longer than 4 days) are not included in the annual dues and the owner is responsible for the cost at check-out.  Currently, the charges for the mid-stay cleans are $105 for a 3 bedroom and $135 for a 4 bedroom residence (prices are subject to change).  Additional a la carte housekeeping services are available by contacting the Front Four concierge and will be billed to the Owner.

14. What may I store when I am not using my residence?
Each owner has access to one locker that is 18” deep by 16” wide and tall enough to fit skis, snowboards, boots, poles, etc., and is located in a secured, temperature controlled storage room.  In addition to the locker storage, you also have the opportunity to purchase one 20” by 18.5” by 24” plastic storage container.

Perishables are not permitted to be stored and access to storage items is available only
when you are in residence. Only containers purchased by the Front Four Manager may be used.

Upon arrival, all ski and snowboard equipment will be labeled and placed in the Ski Valet, located steps from the upper lobby on the ground level.

15. When can I expect the Front Four offices to be open?

Summer Concierge Hours:
Sunday- Thursday  8:00 am- 7:30 pm
Friday  8:00 am- 11:30 pm 
Saturday  8:00 am - 9:30 pm

Winter Concierge Hours:
Monday- Thursday  7:30 am- 7:30 pm

Shoulder Season Concierge Hours:
Spring season: Approximately 3rd week of April – 1st  weekend in July
Autumn season: After the 2nd weekend of October – Mid November (start of ski season)

Sunday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

* If you require assistance during hours when Concierge is not available, Stowe Mountain Lodge guest reception desk is open 24 hours a day. They will be happy able to assist you with any general questions or requests you may have.

16. When will Breakfast and Wine and Cheese be held?

Summer Breakfast
Monday- Sunday   8:00 am - 10:00 am.

Winter Breakfast. During the winter, breakfast starts thirty minutes before first chair.
Monday- Friday   7:30 am - 10:00 am. 
Weekends & Holidays  7:00 am - 10:00 am.

Wine and Cheese 
Friday & Saturday  4:30 pm - 7:00 pm.
* Holiday weekends wine and cheese will also be served on Sunday evenings.

17. What is the Registry Collection and can I become a Member?

The Registry Collection® portfolio represents luxury leisure travel at its finest: Superbly appointed accommodations at the most desirable resort destinations. As a Pinnacle Owner, you will have exchange privileges with this premiere private residence club vacation property program.

18. How do I deposit time with the Registry Collection?

To deposit time you must choose a 7 (seven) day, Friday to Friday timeframe within your Ownership Period then contact the Registry Collection at 1-800-548-2300 to inform them that you would like to deposit your time.  You will need to tell them the dates of the time period, the size of the unit, and the unit number.  Please note that you will be responsible for the daily housekeeping charges according to the unit size you own.  That time is then turned into credits which are banked in your account for up to two years.   You are then free to exchange that banked time for a stay at another property any time you wish based on availability.  You can only deposit time 90 (ninety) days or greater prior to the start date of the stay you are depositing, and this date is strictly adhered to by the Registry Collection.  Once deposited your time here at the Front Four is forfeited and is no longer available to you, even if unused.  The credit value of the time you deposit is based on your unit size and the particular week you are depositing, with some weeks valued higher than others.  The Registry Collection will go over these, and any other rules you might need to know, with you over the phone.

19. What is the Front Four policy on gratuities?

Gratuities are accepted for exceptional service and are at the discretion of each owner. If you would like to show your appreciation, please be specific on the note as to who you are leaving the gratuities for.

20. How can I become a member of the Front Four Residence Owners Association (FFROA) Board of Directors?

Each year the Fractional Interest Owners may elect one (1) Director to the Board of Directors.  This Director shall be elected or re-elected by a vote of the Fractional Interest Owners during the FFROA Annual Meeting in September.  Owners are invited to make self-nominations in July so that they may be included in the Annual Meeting notice sent out each August.
