Frequently Asked Questions
What is Front Four Private Residence Club at Stowe Mountain Lodge?
The Front Four Private Residence Club is located on the top three floors of Stowe Mountain Lodge, a luxury ski-in/ski-out condominium located at the base of Spruce Peak at Stowe. This private residence club is comprised of 34 spacious two-, three- and four-bedroom residences with a private owners’ lounge. While in residence, owners have access to all the services and amenities associated with the lodge, including Stowe Mountain Club Platinum membership privileges.
How is ownership in the club evidenced?
Title to your ownership is evidenced by a real estate deed to an undivided, deeded eighth or sixteenth interest in a two-, three- or four-bedroom residence at the Front Four. It is recorded and insured by a title insurance policy, subject to Governing Instruments. Like most other forms of real estate, this interest can be placed in a trust, sold or willed to other individuals.
Can more than one family or individual own a single membership?
Yes. Ownership can be held as any other form of real estate.
What are the benefits of fractional ownership?
Front Four is designed to provide more convenience, services and amenities than are provided by an equally luxurious vacation home; provide owners with generous and flexible vacation use; remove the worries typically associated with second home ownership; and significantly reduce the financial burden through shared ownership of the residences and club facilities. More importantly, it allows for the cost of ownership to be commensurate with your expected use of a luxury second home.
Is every stay at Front Four for a week at a time?
Owners can use Front Four just like a second home, subject to the Lodging Reservations Policies and Procedures. Based on availability, owners can stay for as little as one night.
Will owners always stay in the same Front Four residence?
Owners may stay in any of the residences of the type they purchased. For example, if you purchase a four-bedroom residence, you may stay in any of the Front Four four-bedroom residences. The same applies for all residence types.
Is every stay at Front Four 3, 4 or 7 day stays?
No. Members can use Front Four just like a second home, subject to the Lodging Reservations Policies and Procedures. Members can stay for as little as one night based on availability.
Will Members always stay in the same Front Four residence?
No. Members may stay in any of the residences of the type they purchased. For example, if you purchase a two-bedroom residence, you may stay in any of the Front Four two-bedroom residences. The same applies for all residence types.
Do owners have guest privileges?
Owners may invite unaccompanied guests to use their planned vacations. Guest fees may apply.
What are the differences between the eighth and sixteenth ownership plans?
The plans vary based upon usage. The eighth plan is for year round use and the sixteenth plan is designed for an owner to use their residence only within their designated summer or winter season. Please see the following chart to compare the eighth and sixteenth ownership plans:
